The city declared Alexander Calder Day, the artist rode into the Loop on a forty-horse wagon behind a parade of elephants and clowns, and his Universe was unveiled at the Sears Tower the same day. It was the first artwork the government commissioned under its Percent for Art program, and it was built to be walked under.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAll prints are presented on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Giclée paper.
