Property lines are an illusion.

Suburban Mirage is the beginning of a project exploring my time growing up in the suburbs. I grew up in the Valley of New England, and it truly was the most picturesque and mysterious part of the country. But if you grew up in the States, the suburbs carry characteristics that unify them all.

Before drones or Google Maps, I could only dream what my neighborhood looked like from the sky.

The layouts of each neighborhood were truly unique. Some you could tell this is the architect's finest work; others you see the grid and just think order and ease.

I find property lines intriguing, and wanted to create a way to say that property is just an illusion.
